Testemunhas no local gravaram ameaça em vídeo

Um doente ameaçou um médico, este sábado, 10 de outubro, com uma faca no Hospital de Faro, segundo noticía o Correio da Manhã (CM), o qual adianta que a Polícia de Segurança Pública (PSP) foi acionada ao local de urgência.

Ainda em atualização, a publicação do CM diz que apesar da gravidade da situação, o médico não chegou a ser esfaqueado, tendo o momento da ameaça sido gravado em vídeo por testemunhas que se encontravam no local.

Em comunicado enviado às redações, a Unidade Local de Saúde (ULS) do Algarve confirmou o incidente e sublinhou que a “pronta intervenção de um elemento da equipa de segurança permitiu imobilizar o indivíduo e evitar que alguém ficasse ferido“.

A ULS Algarve adiantou ainda que o homem “recebeu os cuidados clínicos necessários”, antes de ser detido, encontrando-se sob custódia policial, e assegurou que a urgência do hospital mantém o funcionamento normal.
