West Bengal Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Samik Bhattacharya claimed that the SIR was not properly done in the State; exercise saw deletion of 91 lakh electors from the electoral rolls which was about 13% of all the voters in the State before the start of the voter list revision.

Leader of Opposition Ritabrata Banerjee said that the Mamata faction is unable to get any support from the ground.
