Two different surveys done a few years ago highlighted the reality of caste-based discrimination that SC/ST students face.

They were acquitted in 2025 after the Bombay High Court found evidence of torture and fabrication. A year later, they are struggling to rebuild families, careers, and lives lost to a case that also claimed years they can never recover.
