A Spanish Supreme Court judge on Tuesday lifted the arrest warrant for Catalan separatist leader Carles Puigdemont, clearing the way for him to return home without fear of detention ahead of a general election in November.

Bulgarian authorities on Tuesday launched a search for missing crew members of a boat that sank in its economic zone in the Black Sea after drones hit two merchant vessels. Black Sea shipping has been hit by growing fallout from the war in Ukraine in recent months. 

Ukraine launched overnight one of its largest drone attacks on Moscow in the past two years, killing two men and injuring several people in the Russian capital, local officials said on Tuesday.

President Donald Trump on Monday signed an executive order to ease limits on tax-free red-dyed diesel as fuel prices put pressure on Republican candidates. Trump said the move would save farmers millions of dollars and lower the cost of goods, though analysts said the change would not benefit farmers already using tax-exempt fuel.

President Donald Trump approved a firing squad execution on Monday for Nidal Hasan, the US Army psychiatrist convicted of killing 13 people at Fort Hood in 2009. Hasan's execution will be the first carried out by the US military since 1961, with the date and location yet to be set by the Army.
