Under federal law, it is strictly illegal for foreign nationals to directly or indirectly make political contributions to candidates in federal, state or local elections. 

The Minnesota "Squad" rep addressed the decade-old allegations in her first interview since federal agents raided her DC home.

"If you are going to go to the United States Senate, we need to know, are you for America? Or are you for these terrorist groups overseas?" Republican Mike Rogers pressed.
