Jesse Eisenberg (Nueva York, 43 años) pasó de estar nominado a un Oscar por su papel protagonista en La red social (2010) a ganar el premio a peor actor de reparto por su antagónico en Batman v Superman: El amanecer de la justicia (2016). El cineasta reveló que, tras recibir el Raspberry Award (mejor conocido como Razzie), su carrera como actor se vio perjudicada, hasta el punto de que decidió volcarse en la dirección. “En gran medida, todo surgió del miedo”, comentó Eisenberg durante el Festival de Cine de Londres (BFI) el pasado 18 de octubre, según recoge la revista Variety.

Producer Emma Stone had to chaperone Culkin on the plane to Poland because Eisenberg didn't know if he was going to show: "She sent me a video of him going through customs saying, 'We are here.'"
