'The Terminal List' season two features new Kip Moore track inspired by special operations world

22 October 2026 at 16:13

Country music star Kip Moore dropped new music for the hit series "The Terminal List."

The popular series is based on a book series written by Jack Carr. It follows Navy SEAL James Reece on the hunt for revenge.

Season one came out in 2022 with Pratt playing the lead character. Season two premiered on Oct. 21, and is based on Carr's "True Believer."

It also includes fresh music from Moore.

Kip Moore releases new song for season two of "The Terminal List."

Moore announced Wednesday on Instagram that he made a new song – "The Wolf" – for the second season of Pratt's series.

"I was on a surf trip in Central America in January of 2024 when I got a call from Jared Shaw, who I now consider a friend, about The Terminal List. I hadn’t seen the first season at the time, but he asked if I'd read some of the scripts they were working on for season two and consider writing something for the main character. I immediately dove into season one and was hooked," Moore explained.

He continued, "I've always been fascinated by the world of special operations and I have a tremendous amount of respect for anyone willing to endure that level of training, and the sacrifices it takes. As I started reading through the scripts, I kept coming back to something Jared had scribbled in his notes: ‘It's like the battle between two wolves.’"

"That idea really stuck with me. I’ve always been drawn to exploring the more complex, human side of those experiences rather than simply celebrating the heroism. I wanted to dig into the internal battles, the weight of what these individuals carry, and the toll those experiences can take on a person's mind and spirit. I tried to put myself in the character's shoes and write from that place, exploring what he might be wrestling with on a deeper level. That's really where ‘The Wolf’ came from," Moore finished.

Ney Matogrosso passa por cirurgia e suspende shows por um mês

22 October 2026 at 15:25

21 October 2026 at 23:37

Turismo além dos shows

Gabriel Luna teases 'shifting perspectives' in 'The Last of Us' season 3 as filming continues

21 October 2026 at 15:05

A star of "The Last of Us" is shining a light on what's coming next.

The hit TV series based on the popular video game saga premiered in January 2023 with Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal leading the way.

Season one received critical acclaim and a significant following as viewers watched Ellie and Joel navigate a post-apocalyptic world.

It was a dark and gritty show that saw the protagonists battle the infected and humans.

"The Last of Us" star shares update on season three.

Unfortunately, season two had a noticeable decline in quality. Outside of maybe two episodes, it felt like the show had lost its edge.

The only reason to believe season three might be positive is that the season two finale indicated the show would focus heavily on Abby (Kaitlyn Dever) moving forward.

Now, star Gabriel Luna is pulling back the curtain on what fans can expect.

"This season has been very interesting in the way that a lot of different perspectives shift. Without saying too much, I think folks that were playing the game are aware of that aspect. I just can’t wait for people to see it. We’re shooting it now. I have a little bit of a break," Luna told Variety in a video shared Tuesday night.

You can watch his full comments below, and let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

Here's the basic reality of the situation. "The Last of Us" will have a very small window of opportunity to convince fans to continue sticking around.

The Ellie storyline (Ramsey) got so cringe down the stretch. Abby, who killed Joel in season two, is a far more interesting character, and Kaitlyn Dever is simply a much more captivating actress. She's come a long way since season two of "Justified."

Fans are going to punch out quickly if season three doesn't go all in on Abby as the main focus. Not exactly inspired that's what will happen, judging from Luna's comments, but time will tell.

Europe’s youth uprising: why millions are taking to the streets

20 October 2026 at 10:28

Schools without heat but billions for war: Across Europe, young people have had enough. Amina Vandenheuvel, MP for the Workers’ Party of Belgium (PTB) and a member of its youth movement RedFox, joins Zoe Alexandra and Rania Khalek as a rebellion against austerity and war sweeps the continent, from student blockades in Belgium and France to strikes against the draft in Germany and housing encampments in Spain.

Vandenheuvel condemns the police repression of protesters, and explains why politicians keep the focus on property damage to discredit the movement – as the war on Iran and Europe’s rush to rearm for war with Russia push ordinary people to the brink. But she also argues anger alone isn’t enough: young people need political awareness, organization, and an anti-capitalist framework for building a different future – one built for the working class, not endless war and billionaire profiteering.

From Nolan Wells to Kohen Wiley: racist killings ‘justified’ in Mississippi

20 October 2026 at 10:21

Mississippi just said a cop was justified in killing 1-year-old Kohen Wiley, and that no one will be held accountable in the suspicious death of 18-year-old Nolan Wells.

Prince Williams, an organizer with the Party for Socialism and Liberation in North Carolina, and Jaden Foy, a student organizer at NC State, join Zoe Alexandra and Rania Khalek to explain why hundreds of HBCU students across five Southern states walked out of classes on the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Black Panther Party to demand justice for Nolan, Kohen, and all the Black youth robbed of their futures by militarized police. Williams and Foy react to Monday’s ruling that the Senatobia police officer was “justified” in firing into the car where Kohen Wiley sat on his mother’s lap, while responding to a call over the suspected shoplifting of diapers at Walmart.

They draw a line from these deaths to Emmett Till and Mississippi’s long history of racist killings covered up as “accidents.” And they make the case for why the South needs a third reconstruction built by organizing – not just voting.

“Those in power are telling us that the murder of a 1-year-old isn’t criminal… What is criminal conduct in this country?” Watch full episodes of BT Live, join breakthroughnews.org as a member today! #breakthroughnews

  • France is experiencing some of its worst civil unrest in years.
  • So, what came before it?
  • Here are 10 of France's biggest protests and riots over the past 100 years.

France is experiencing one of its largest riots and protests in years.

What began as peaceful demonstrations over school conditions culminated in nationwide cost-of-living protests and, subsequently, riots.

French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu said Tuesday that curfews imposed on Monday contributed to a calm night, though more protests are planned, according to Reuters.

The riots and protests echo many in France's long history of mass demonstrations. From nationwide strikes to student demonstrations, several have brought the country to a standstill, in some cases prompting France's leaders to announce a state of emergency.

Take a look at some of France's biggest and most impactful protests and riots over the past 100 years.

Veterans and right-wing demonstrators took to the streets following a government corruption scandal. At least 15 people were killed.

The French Prime Minister at the time resigned the following day, stoking fears of a fascist coup.

Alongside an economic crisis, fears of a fascist coup after the 1934 riots helped unite left-wing parties and trade unions. Mass strikes and factory occupations in May and June 1936 led to major labor reforms, according to France's National Assembly.

1948 — Miners' strike

In 1948, 300,000 French coal miners went on strike to protest economic conditions, per The New York Times. There was a heavy government crackdown, where some striking miners were killed, and another 3,000 were fired, according to AFP.

1961 — Paris Algerian demonstration and massacre

About 30,000 Algerians peacefully demonstrated against a curfew and in support of Algeria's independence, according to the BBC.

French police brutally cracked down. Historians estimate that at least 120 Algerians were killed, though some estimates put that number closer to 300, Al Jazeera reported.

1968 — May 1968

What started as a student movement demanding university reforms turned into millions of people striking after trade unions joined the uprising.

Between the protests and rioting, the demonstrations brought the nation to a standstill. To restore order, then-president Charles de Gaulle dissolved the National Assembly and called early elections, which his party won in June.

In this year's student protests, many banners referenced "May 1968," Time reported.

1986 — Anti-Devaquet student protests

Hundreds of thousands of students protested proposed university reforms they feared would restrict access to higher education.

Three weeks of violent clashes with police left hundreds injured and 22-year-old Malik Oussekine dead, forcing Prime Minister Jacques Chirac to withdraw the reforms, Time reported.

1995 — Strikes against pension reforms

Between October and December 1995, public-sector workers went on strike against proposed austerity measures and pension reforms, bringing the country to a standstill, per the Global Nonviolent Action Database.

Then-prime minister Alain Juppé withdrew the proposed changes to public-sector pension plans, though other parts of his reform package went ahead.

After two teenagers died while hiding from the police, riots began in Clichy-sous-Bois, a Parisian suburb, which then spread to other cities, the BBC reported at the time.

The government declared a state of emergency as unrest spread. The riots lasted about three weeks, while the state of emergency ended after about two months.

"Les Gilets Jaunes," or 'the yellow vests' in English, was a 2018 protest movement against a planned increase in fuel taxes that evolved into broader anti-government demonstrations, leading to deaths.

The French Prime Minister, Édouard Philippe, froze the tax hike in December that year and then fully canceled it days later.

Hundreds of thousands of people protested and went on strike against President Emmanuel Macron’s pension reforms, which raised the retirement age from 62 to 64, according to Le Monde.

Macron's government enacted the reform despite the protests; the retirement age began rising in September 2023 and is scheduled to reach 64 by 2030.
