He said several members of the crew and band were injured in the crash.

"The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and out of respect for that process and for our driver and his family, we aren't able to share further details at this time," he wrote.

He said after "careful consideration" he realized there wasn't a "viable path" for continuing his "Everybody's Home, Nobody's Happy" tour "and that the focus and priority for my band and crew should be on processing and healing."

Hill shares that the band is working on rescheduling dates, but refunds are also available for those who purchased tickets.

"Thank you for posting," fellow musician Lucy Levinsohn Berman wrote. "Many of us are grieving David 'RollingCloud.' He has been a pillar of the Music community. He personally took my band, along with 2 other bands into his home when we were on tour. He housed and fed us and showed us ultimate kindness. He was one of the real ones. It's so sad his journey ended with your tour. I've followed and enjoyed your work. Glad the rest of your band and crew were able to live to tell. Catch you in Los Angeles. Take care."
