Le mardi 7 avril, à 3 h 30, un appel m'apprend que trois missiles israéliens ont entièrement détruit la synagogue Rafi'nia, rue Fariman à Téhéran. Ce lieu de prière abrite également les réunions de l'Association des diplômés juifs d'Iran. Sur place, je découvre les étagères brisées et renversées, les livres déchiquetés éparpillés sur le sol. Çà et là, parmi les décombres, on aperçoit des fragments des tapis précieux qui, autrefois, ornaient les murs. Le poids des souvenirs rend pour moi cette destruction encore plus douloureuse. Après m'être enquise de l'état des habitants de la ruelle et avoir constaté qu'ils étaient sains et saufs, ma principale préoccupation va aux anciens rouleaux de la Torah. Le chef des secouristes accepte de ne pas utiliser une pelleteuse et de prendre le risque de déblayer à la main pour ne pas les abîmer. Conservés dans de solides caisses en bois, les rouleaux sont exhumés au bout de cinq jours.
Tous les Juifs du monde connaissent cette histoire : après la prise de Babylone, en 538 avant l'ère présente, le roi achéménide Cyrus le Grand libéra les déportés du royaume de Juda. Une partie d'entre eux prit le chemin de la Perse et découvrit dans la région de l'actuelle Ispahan un climat qui leur rappela celui de Jérusalem. Ils s'y établirent et prirent racine. Aujourd'hui, dans l'un des pays musulmans les plus radicaux du Proche-Orient, vit encore une communauté de plusieurs milliers de Juifs.
Nous, Juifs iraniens, n'avons jamais cessé de vivre sur cette terre. Nous avons été mêlés à tout ce qu'elle a traversé, pris dans le même creuset des heures heureuses et des heures sombres du pays. Nous sommes toujours vivants, nous respirons encore et nous faisons signe au monde : « Hé, nous sommes là ! » Nous ne sommes ni misérables, ni apeurés, ni rongés par l'inquiétude : nous formons une communauté soudée, structurée et prospère, dotée d'organisations de jeunesse, d'associations de femmes et d'institutions communautaires à Téhéran, Chiraz ou Ispahan. Notre communauté est porteuse d'une identité à la fois juive et iranienne.
Nos synagogues restent ouvertes, nos jeunes passent sous la houppa (le dais nuptial) pour se marier, nos morts reposent en paix dans leurs cimetières confessionnels. À l'étranger, cette réalité singulière a toujours été assimilée à la propagande d'État et reléguée à la marge. Mais, aujourd'hui, je suis là pour témoigner, en tant que journaliste iranienne et juive, de comment nous, citoyens de toutes religions, de toutes langues et de toutes origines, continuons à vivre ensemble. «I learned with deep sorrow the news of the desecration of the holy places of Medjugorje. Let us not allow evil to contaminate us with its logic. Saint Paul reminds us: ‘Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good”» (Rom 12:21).
It is with this warning that the Bishop of Mostar, Monsignor Petar Palić, responds to the vandalism committed last night at the Marian shrine in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is home to half of the millions of pilgrims who come to see Our Lady’s apparitions and her monthly messages, which recently received ecclesiastical approval from the Catholic Church.
“Regardless of the differing opinions that exist on individual issues related to Medjugorje, which the Church prudently judges in its own way, nothing can justify hatred, violence, or the desecration of a place of prayer,“ the high prelate added in a message published on the official website of the Diocese of Mostar, of which Medjugorje is a part.
“Where a person goes to sincerely seek God, others are called to respect their conscience and their right to pray. Therefore, I urge all believers to respond not with bitterness or condemnation, but with what has always been the Church’s most powerful weapon: prayer, fasting, forgiveness, trust in God’s providence, and our personal conversion of life.”

A serious act of vandalism has occurred in Medjugorje, in the famous Sanctuary of Bosnia and Herzegovina which has become a destination for millions of pilgrims for the Apparitions of Our Lady, Queen of Peace,
A man set fire to the outdoor altar located behind the Church of St. James. The flames were quickly extinguished and did not spread to the church, but they did cause material damage to the recently renovated altar. A surveillance camera captured the desecration.
In record time, the statues that had been destroyed in the middle of the night in Medjugorje were restored by the locals, starting with that of the Queen of Peace on Podbrdo, the apparition hill.
These acts of vandalism didn’t stop several pilgrims from arriving to Apparition Hill and praying there regardless.
In a statement, the Medjugorje Parish Office announced that it has immediately begun cleaning and repairs to make all areas suitable for prayer again.
The sanctuary therefore remains open to all pilgrims, and the faithful are invited to respond to this sad event with prayer, fasting, and forgiveness: “Let us pray for the conversion of the hearts of those who committed this act, that the Lord may touch them with His grace and guide them on the path of goodness.”
Police in Bosnia and Herzegovina have arrested a man in the Ljubuški area suspected of being behind the serious vandalism that struck Medjugorje, one of the world’s major Marian pilgrimage sites, overnight. Investigators are trying to determine the motive and determine whether he acted alone or with accomplices.
The first video shows the arrest of the alleged vandal, while the others show the swift restoration of the Statue of the Queen of Peace on Apparition Hill, which has returned to its former glory in all its sparkling whiteness.

The Pentagon showed videos of “UFOs” — they were published in a new batch of declassified documents.
The first shows a six-pointed star that was seen in the Indo-Pacific region in 2025. Judging by the footage, she was moving smoothly.
This is very similar to a previous UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon) posted below that supported the “Ophanim theory” which clamis that these apparitions of aliens are a kind of epiphanies of biblical angels (read details below in this investigation)
In the second footage in the above video we can see a strange “transformer” with a height of 3.6 to 4.5 meters was filmed over the Atlantic Ocean in 2020. The footage shows a figure with a powerful jetpack.
