Victoria's Secret brought some extra sparkle to its runway on Sunday night.
The brand's annual fashion show, which returned in 2024 after being canceled five years earlier, was held in Los Angeles, with models including Adriana Lima and Barbara Palvin donning their wings for the occasion.
Since making its comeback, the fashion show has been more than a spectacle for Victoria's Secret. It's also been a way to attract a new generation of shoppers by leaning into nostalgia. Elizabeth Preis, Victoria's Secret's chief marketing officer, previously told Fast Company that the show was about "brand consideration for the audience that doesn't currently shop with us."
This year, the brand ramped up its social media promotion and made 17 times as many runway items available to purchase, Barron's reported.
The 2026 show also brought back a symbol of Victoria's Secret's heyday: the Fantasy Bra, an elaborate piece of lingerie often worth millions that hadn't appeared on the runway since 2018.
Kylie Jenner modeled the bra for its comeback. Designed by Jacob & Co., it's the most expensive Fantasy Bra ever created at $50 million.

Jenner walked the runway in the much-anticipated bra, designed by Jacob Arabo of Jacob & Co., to the cheers of Kris Jenner and Timothée Chalamet.
Arabo said ahead of the show that it was his goal to create "the most expensive Fantasy Bra ever made," and he delivered.
The bra was made entirely of diamonds and gold, unlike bras from past years that had a fabric base. It was made of 4,410 diamonds in total, including a 75.54-carat Natural Fancy Vivid Yellow diamond hanging from the center, as Victoria's Secret shared on Instagram after the show.
The 2026 Fantasy Bra took over 1,000 hours to make and is worth a whopping $50 million.

Il circuito professionistico del tennis rappresenta uno degli ecosistemi sportivi più dinamici e globalizzati del panorama mondiale. Giocatori e giocatrici appartenenti ai circuiti ATP e WTA trascorrono gran parte dell’anno spostandosi da un Paese all’altro per partecipare a tornei di diversa categoria, dai Challenger ai Master 1000, fino ai quattro eventi del Grande Slam. Questa continua mobilità transfrontaliera genera una serie di complessità dal punto di vista giuridico e tributario.
Ogni vittoria di un match o il semplice superamento di un turno all’interno di un tabellone principale comporta il diritto a percepire un compenso economico sotto forma di premio di gara. Tuttavia, il passaggio dall’importo lordo del premio al netto effettivamente incassato dall’atleta è regolato da norme stringenti. La tassazione dei montepremi nel tennis internazionale si fonda su un delicato equilibrio tra le sovranità fiscali dei singoli Paesi, i trattati contro la doppia imposizione e i principi di territorialità sanciti dagli organismi internazionali.
Tennis internazionale e principio della territorialità
La pietra angolare su cui si regge la fiscalità dello sport professionistico internazionale è rappresentata dall’articolo 17 del Modello di Convenzione OCSE contro le doppie imposizioni sul reddito e sul patrimonio. Questa disposizione stabilisce una deroga fondamentale rispetto ai criteri generali previsti per i redditi da lavoro autonomo, dalle professioni libere o dalle attività d’impresa.
In base alla regola generale stabilita dalle convenzioni internazionali, le prestazioni di lavoro autonomo o professionale sono solitamente tassabili esclusivamente nello Stato di residenza del contribuente, a meno che questi non disponga di una stabile organizzazione o di una base fissa nell’altro Stato. L’articolo 17 del Modello OCSE ribalta totalmente questa impostazione per le categorie degli artisti e degli sportivi.
La norma attribuisce prioritariamente allo Stato della fonte – ovvero il Paese sul cui territorio si svolge la manifestazione sportiva – la potestà impositiva sui redditi derivanti dalle prestazioni personali dell’atleta. Di conseguenza, nel momento in cui l’organizzatore di un torneo eroga il premio spettante al tennista, assume la qualifica di sostituto d’imposta ed è tenuto ad applicare una ritenuta alla fonte. Tale ritenuta viene trattenuta direttamente alla fonte e versata all’amministrazione finanziaria locale, consentendo allo Stato ospitante di incassare le imposte sull’attività svolta all’interno dei propri confini territoriali.
L’applicazione dell’articolo 17 prescinde completamente dalla durata della permanenza dello sportivo nel Paese ospitante, dalla sua nazionalità o dalla presenza di contratti a lungo termine. Il solo fatto di scendere in campo e disputare un incontro ufficiale attribuisce allo Stato ospitante la facoltà di tassare il compenso associato a quella specifica prestazione.
Il principio del worldwide taxation e l’articolo 3 del Tuir
Se da un lato lo Stato ospitante applica la ritenuta alla fonte sui premi erogati, dall’altro l’atleta deve fare i conti con la legislazione fiscale del proprio Paese di residenza. Per i tennisti che mantengono la propria residenza fiscale in Italia, la normativa di riferimento sul piano nazionale si rinviene nel Testo Unico delle Imposte sui Redditi (Tuir).
L’articolo 3 del Tuir sancisce il principio del worldwide taxation system (tassazione del reddito mondiale). In forza di questo principio, i soggetti residenti fiscalmente nel territorio dello Stato italiano sono tassati su tutti i redditi posseduti, indipendentemente dal luogo in cui tali redditi sono stati prodotti o percepiti.
Un tennista residente in Italia che vince un torneo negli Stati Uniti, in Francia o in Australia deve necessariamente includere l’intero importo lordo del montepremi all’interno della propria dichiarazione dei redditi annuale (Modello Redditi Pf). Il reddito di fonte estera deve essere sommato agli eventuali altri redditi percepiti in Italia, concorrendo alla formazione dell’imponibile complessivo soggetto alle aliquote progressive dell’Irpef e alle relative addizionali regionali e comunali.
L’adozione contemporanea del criterio della territorialità da parte dello Stato del torneo e del criterio del reddito mondiale da parte dello Stato di residenza genera una sovrapposizione d’imposta sullo stesso provento. Senza un idoneo meccanismo di compensazione, l’atleta subirebbe un gravoso fenomeno di doppia imposizione fiscale.
Il recupero delle imposte estere
Per evitare che la tassazione dei montepremi nel tennis internazionale penalizzi ingiustamente i contribuenti attraverso la duplicazione dei prelievi fiscali, l’ordinamento italiano mette a disposizione lo strumento del credito d’imposta per i redditi prodotti all’estero, disciplinato dall’articolo 165 del Tuir.
Il legislatore, infatti, ha attribuito al residente italiano la facoltà di detrarre dalle imposte dovute in Italia le ritenute e i tributi già versati a titolo definitivo allo Stato estero in cui è stato vinto il montepremi. Il funzionamento pratico di questo meccanismo richiede una sequenza precisa di passaggi:
determinazione del reddito lordo. Il tennista dichiara in Italia l’ammontare lordo del montepremi convertito in euro al tasso di cambio ufficiale del giorno di incasso;
calcolo dell’imposta lorda italiana. Si calcola l’Irpef teoricamente dovuta sul reddito complessivo comprendente anche il montepremi estero;
imputazione del credito d’imposta. Dall’imposta italiana così calcolata si scomputa l’importo della ritenuta già trattenuta dall’organizzatore del torneo all’estero.
L’applicazione del credito d’imposta presenta tuttavia limiti normativi ben definiti. In primo luogo, la detrazione è ammessa fino a concorrenza della quota d’imposta italiana attribuibile al reddito estero: ciò significa che se l’aliquota applicata all’estero è superiore a quella italiana, l’eccedenza non può essere chiesta a rimborso. In secondo luogo, la detrazione spetta a condizione che le imposte pagate nello Stato estero abbiano il carattere della definitività. Le ritenute applicate a titolo d’acconto o provvisorie richiedono prima la presentazione di una dichiarazione dei redditi locale nello Stato del torneo per determinare l’imposta finale effettivamente dovuta.
Distinzione tra montepremi e sponsorizzazioni
Nel bilancio di un tennista professionista di alto livello, i premi di gara costituiscono spesso solo una porzione del fatturato complessivo, affiancata dai proventi derivanti dai contratti di sponsorizzazione, cessione dei diritti d’immagine e forniture tecniche. La gestione fiscale di tali componenti richiede una rigida distinzione in termini di qualificazione giuridica.
I contratti di sponsorizzazione cosiddetti puri o di natura promozionale globale non sono direttamente collegati alla prestazione sportiva resa in un singolo torneo. In questi casi, la convenzione internazionale non applica l’articolo 17, bensì l’articolo 7 del Modello OCSE, che disciplina la tassazione degli utili d’impresa e dei redditi derivanti dalle attività professionali ordinarie.
L’articolo 7 stabilisce la tassazione esclusiva dei redditi nello Stato di residenza fiscale del contribuente. Pertanto, le somme corrisposte da uno sponsor internazionale a un tennista per l’utilizzo del suo nome o del suo volto nelle campagne pubblicitarie mondiali non possono essere assoggettate a ritenuta alla fonte da parte degli Stati in cui si giocano i singoli tornei, salvo i casi in cui l’accordo contrattuale preveda espressamente la presenza obbligatoria dell’atleta in uno specifico evento locale.

Per beneficiare del credito d’imposta in Italia ed evitare contestazioni durante gli accertamenti dell’Agenzia delle Entrate, la gestione documentale del tennista deve seguire standard di accuratezza rigorosi. Il riconoscimento della detrazione ex art. 165 Tuir non è infatti automatico, ma subordinato alla prova documentale dell’effettivo prelievo subito all’estero.
Al termine di ogni torneo, il comitato organizzatore o la federazione ospitante è tenuta a rilasciare al giocatore una certificazione fiscale ufficiale (Tax Certificate o Withholding Statement). Questo documento deve indicare con precisione:
l’importo lordo del montepremi spettante all’atleta;
l’ammontare esatto della ritenuta trattenuta e versata all’erario locale;
il riferimento normativo in base al quale la trattenuta è stata effettuata.
Qualora la ritenuta applicata all’estero sia solo a titolo d’acconto – come avviene ad esempio negli Stati Uniti o nel Regno Unito per determinati scaglioni di reddito -, il tennista è tenuto a presentare la dichiarazione dei redditi nello Stato estero entro i termini stabiliti dalla legislazione locale. Solo una volta ottenuto il prospetto di liquidazione definitiva (Tax Return o Notice of Assessment) sarà possibile determinare l’esatta quota di imposta definitiva scomputabile dall’Irpef in Italia. La corretta tracciabilità dei flussi finanziari e la conservazione tempestiva di tutta la documentazione contabile rappresentano elementi indispensabili per la tutela del patrimonio dell’atleta professionista.

Dans une location au « balcon Saint-Raphaël », auquel a donné son nom le belvédère qui offre un panorama de toute la baie, un divan, deux fauteuils, une bibliothèque vide, une table basse, l'habituel bruit des vagues, le vent léger qui se lève parfois pour remplir les rares silences — et des rêveries cosmiques. Car là, au sommet de la falaise, l'esprit de la locataire, fugueur et libre, déborde, échappe au réel. Dans son nouveau roman, l'écrivain algérien Ryad Girod évoque le destin de Sarah, qui, semblable au portrait de Jésus dressé par l'apocryphe Évangile de Judas, consent aux ruses du destin pour se débarrasser de l'enveloppe mortelle qui l'habille. Le roman ne le dit pas explicitement mais on peut le déduire : Sarah, astrophysicienne et actrice à ses heures, adopte une distance rieuse à l'égard du culte de la performance, de la célébrité aliénante et des petites bassesses ordinaires. À s'en tenir au strict déroulement des scènes, on pourrait croire à une banale crise existentielle paralysant la carrière d'une artiste montante. Mais Une légende est loin de se réduire à un drame psychologique.
Telle que la rapportent les voix cosmiques qui en tissent la trame, l'histoire de cette femme peut d'abord se lire comme celle d'une scientifique qui, après avoir échoué à convaincre la direction de l'Observatoire de Paris du caractère « révolutionnaire » de ses recherches sur l'existence de vies extraterrestres, se perd dans des considérations brumeuses sur le temps, l'immortalité de l'âme et l'origine de l'univers. Cette narration en spirale conduit toutefois le lecteur vers des interrogations inattendues : comment vivre dans un corps animé par un souffle hybride, mi-humain, mi-céleste ? Et comment observer et comprendre les mystères auxquels donne accès cette condition avec une intelligence enchaînée à ses limites terrestres ?
Avant d'atterrir à Alger, l'avion dans lequel voyage Sarah est secoué par de violentes turbulences, le pilote doit faire escale à Majorque. Persuadée que les passagers ont « évité le crash », elle passe six heures « au bar des escales » à se demander si « tout ça n'était pas un signe pour qu'elle fasse marche arrière ». Quand le tournage commence, Sarah cherche toujours à échapper à la mort. Entre sa résidence et l'hôtel où se jouent les scènes de la série, elle scrute anxieusement le mouvement des cieux et s'investit peu dans le projet mené par Éric, le scénariste, qui ne valide ses textes qu'après la lecture à voix haute d'un passage de L'Éthique de Baruch Spinoza.
Divagations, errances. Sarah, aidée par les forces cosmiques qui veillent sur elle, voyage entre les époques, goûte aux bizarreries du Moyen Âge et se voit semblable aux atomes. Lorsqu'elle rouvre les yeux, un mystérieux Johannes, musicien immortel et ensorceleur, vient lui rendre visite pour absorber ses peurs. Soudainement, la narration dévie. Le scénario change. Tout se brouille. D'aucuns décident qu'elle doit mourir… sur scène. Fidèle à elle-même, Sarah ne retranche rien à ce nouveau scénario : la mort n'est qu'un mauvais songe.
