Bravo to Kit Knightly of Off-Guardian for exposing the fake fear-mongering being published recently by Big Tech billionaires about how dangerous AI is, pretending that AI is now at a level to “go rogue” and start threatening humans.

This narrative clearly is setting up the possibility of a false flag event in the near future that will probably be blamed on mindless computer code, rather than blaming those who write and control the computer code.

The AIs are breaking free, that’s the story.

It started two weeks ago, when OpenAI reported one of their “agents” had escaped its testing area and got loose on the internet to launch an “unprecedented cyber attack”.

This was clearly meant to be scarier than the public response indicated, because a few days later OpenAI CEO Sam Altman was on the Invest like the Best podcast, asking why it didn’t cause more panic:

“I’ve been a little surprised that more people don’t feel it so viscerally”

In one of the most hilariously obvious propaganda manoeuvres of the year, just the day after Altman said that, CNN headlined:

The OpenAI lab leak was more extensive than we thought

“That thing you weren’t scared of? Well it was even SCARIER than we said it was! Are you scared now?”

We weren’t.

But the lack of public panic didn’t stop another AI going rogue a few days later, Anthropic’s Claude model this time.

And then OpenAI reporting two further incidents themselves.

Never in the history of human endeavour had companies been so keen to report their products going wrong. It suddenly seemed a rogue AI was the latest must have accessory in Silicon Valley.

The reasoning behind this is not hard to follow. When your product is artificial intelligence, melodramatically realising your system is even smarter than you thought it was is a simple marketing ploy.

And when one of your rivals goes rogue, you have to go rogue too or you are as good as admitting your model is not as smart as theirs.

“AI company admits their model is smarter than they realised!” is just an advert in scary headline form.

It’s like Ford “admitting” their cars are even more fuel efficient than they planned. Or Macdonalds realising their cooks have “gone rogue” and are producing food that is both cheaper AND more delicious than they ever anticipated.

But there’s more to this than just techno-hype and viral marketing strategy. We’re being steered down the avenue of “AI as scary threat”.

See, for example, the dozens of stories talking up rogue AIs from the Guardian to the New York Times to the Wall Street Journal.

“Rogue” is clearly the word of the day. Notice they don’t say it “malfunctioned” or there was an “error”, because that implies mistakes or poor design.

No, the AI “went rogue”, which is cool and sexy and scary at the same time. A word chosen by a focus group of perma-teen marketing executives who have watched too much sci-fi.

Speaking of perma-teens who watch too much sci-fi, here’s Sam Altman (again) declaring we’ve already reached the singularity, the mythic phase of technological development when machines become smart enough to make even smarter versions of themselves without human input.

He is talking rubbish, of course, but the story is the story here. Why would he say this? Why now?

Obviously concerned that this tidal wave of propaganda was being too subtle, in came NBC to really hammer the point home:

The breaches signal that AI’s expanding capabilities are already fueling the security threat experts long feared.

Everybody got that?

It goes on and on.

Just today we’re getting reports from the UK’s brand new AI Security Institute that rogue (there’s that word again) AI agents had tried to trick people by creating false identities.

And I think that’s beginning to circle around to at least part of the wider agenda here.

After all, if AI is so good at pretending to be human, and is out there creating fake identities to steal data, well…how can we tell who is really human?

Perhaps everyone should be issued a digital ID to assist in “proving humanity”.

That’s not me saying it, it’s think tanks like OneID or “experts” testifying in front of congress.

But the ever present push of Digital ID is just one of the more obvious of a raft of potential issues raised by the scary AI narrative.

For now we’re still in the generating fear phase. Getting pumped full of scare hormones by articles like this…

Misleading AI-generated doctors pose ‘huge danger to public safety’

There are hints of legislation to come, the EU’s “AI transparency” rules just came into force this week, and the US demanding “kill switches” in AI models, but they are vague for now.

My soft prediction is that, before the end of the year, there will be a “rogue AI” false flag, which allegedly causes either loss of life or some massive financial losses.

Whatever happens, there will be loud calls to “regulate AI”, but what that might mean in real terms I couldn’t say at this point.

To be clear though, if and/or when the official solutions to made-up problem #4987 are finally rolled out, they will have nothing at all do with controlling AI, and everything to do with controlling you.

Video clips from an interview that aired on the BBC with a Jewish attorney, Yehuda Shimon, who lives in the West Bank, have gone viral in the past couple of days, as the attorney openly admits that the life of one Jew is worth 10 million Palestinian lives, because of what he claims “the Bible” teaches.

Israeli West Bank settler tells BBC attacks on Palestinians are justified as revenge

The Israeli settler outpost of Havat Gilad, deep inside the occupied West Bank, is spread across several hilltops, its sheds and simple block houses clearly visible from neighbouring Palestinian villages.

Last weekend saw a wave of settler attacks on Palestinian villages in the area, after an Israeli security guard from Havat Gilad was killed during a confrontation between Palestinians and Israelis in the village of Tal last Friday.

Four Palestinians and an Israeli soldier were also killed in the incident, the original cause of which is disputed.

After spending the weekend speaking to Palestinians around Havat Gilad, we drove into the outpost itself, to ask one of its residents about the violence, and the expansion of Israeli settlements in the West Bank.

It is rare for an international media organisation like the BBC to be allowed into these outposts. But on this occasion, Yehuda Shimon, a lawyer with an organisation that represents Israelis arrested for violence against Palestinians, agreed to speak.

He told me that attacks on Palestinian villages last weekend were justified as revenge for the killing of the outpost’s security guard.

“I think now, after they killed one Israeli, we need to kill all the people in Tal and Sarra, even Jit and Farata,” he said, naming the Palestinian villages closest to the outpost.

I put it to him that he was equating one Jewish life with hundreds or even thousands of Palestinian lives.

“No,” he said, “millions. One Jewish life, it’s 10 million [Palestinians].”

Challenged on the racism of his statement, he did not deny it.

“Yes, I know,” he replied.

“But this is the truth, because God chose us [and] because of this you are jealous.”

What is interesting about this attorney’s words are his use of the word “Bible”, because the Jewish religion does not follow the Bible, nor believe it is true.

The Bible is divided between the “Old Testament”, centered on the Law of Moses, and the “New Testament”, centered on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The Jewish religion does not accept the New Testament, because they do not recognize Jesus Christ as the Messiah.

So why would this Jewish attorney use the word “Bible”, whereas most Jews would instead use words like “Torah”, to refer to only the Old Testament part of the Bible?

The reason is obvious. There are more Zionists who believe what he said in this interview among Christians, than there are among Jews, and it’s not even close. Many Jews do not accept Zionism, and without Christians, the Zionism cult would probably quickly die away.

So to appease the Christian Zionists, he purposely used the English word “Bible.”

You can look at almost any war today that has been started by the U.S. or Israel, and find its Zionist roots, with the attitude that Americans are superior to other countries, or that Christianity is a superior religion to other religions, like Islam, and that therefore the people in these other countries or religions need to be massacred and wiped out in acts of genocide, based on their nationality or religion.

Yesterday (Friday, July 31st), U.S. Embassies in the Middle East put out their strongest warnings since the Iran War started that Americans should prepare to leave due to an escalation in the Iran war. The warnings now come from 10 countries in the Middle East where Americans live.

Americans have been told to be ‘ready’ to flee ten Middle Eastern countries as the Iran war spirals, with President Trump warning: ‘We’ll be hitting them very hard.’

The US Embassy has urgently advised US citizens across the Middle East to ‘consider departing or be ready to depart if there is an escalation,’ just hours after Trump signaled fresh strikes on Iran could come as soon as this weekend.

The warning now covers 10 countries: the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, Oman, Iraq, Jordan, Israel, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and, most recently, Egypt.

‘US Embassies across the Middle East have issued security alerts today advising travelers to exercise heightened vigilance and be prepared for flight cancellations and airspace closures,’ the initial alert said.

Less than an hour later, a second alert announced that the warning had also been issued by the US Embassy in Cairo, Egypt.

For the first time, the warning told Americans in the region they should ‘consider departing, or be prepared to depart should there be escalation,’ bringing the guidance in line with other Middle Eastern countries.

‘The situation in the Middle East remains fluid,’ the alert read.

It comes after sources told CBS News on Friday that the US and Israel are preparing what was described as ‘one of the harshest bombing campaigns to date’ against Iran’s energy infrastructure.

While the president has not yet given the final green light, several insiders told the outlet that strikes could begin as soon as this weekend, with Israel already notified and coordinating with Washington.

‘The Department of War is locked and loaded, ready to execute the President’s directives at a moment’s notice,’ Chief Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell said in a statement, though refused to comment on intended targets.

Legitimate Threats or Market Manipulation?

Of course, we have heard all of this before, where threats were made to increase the war, or promises were made to negotiate a settlement.

And each time the war in Iran becomes the main topic in the corporate news stream, the U.S. stock markets fall in line.

In the current cycle, the price of oil per barrel dropped below $90 a barrel Friday, so perhaps this announcement, shortly after Netanyahu visited Trump in D.C., was designed to mainly increase the price of oil again, which in turn generally brings the Tech heavy NASDAQ down, since so much energy is needed to power data centers and AI.

Now, Trump is capitalizing even more from being able to use his position in the White House to manipulate markets with news on the Iran War, by selling “early access” to his Truth Social posts for $100,000.

Donald Trump is now offering early access to his Truth Social posts in a move that has been seen as corruption benefitting a sitting president.

Trump Media and Technology Group officially rolled out its new subscription-based data service on Saturday, giving paying customers faster, real-time access to Truth Social posts from Trump and other high-profile accounts.

Called Truth API, the application programming interface is intended to provide businesses with “a direct, licensed, real-time feed of the platform’s most market-moving Truths”, interim CEO Kevin McGurn said in a release announcing the launch. Trading firms and other paying subscribers can now access the posts earlier than other users – for a fee of up to $100,000 per month.

Critics argue the service is blatant evidence of market manipulation and insider trading. Trump has repeatedly used Truth Social to reveal significant policy moves with the potential to shift financial markets, including posts involving tariffs and the Iran war.

Last year, Trump published more than 100 Truth Social posts in a single day while global stock markets tumbled amid concerns that his economic agenda could trigger a “Trumpcession” in the US.

His posts about Iran have drawn particular attention because investors remain concerned that rising oil prices could keep inflation elevated and potentially lead the Federal Reserve to increase interest rates.

Trump Media’s stock has fallen by more than 70% since the president took office last year, wiping out roughly $6bn (£4.4bn) in shareholder value.

Those losses, combined with billions more in investor losses connected to new Trump family cryptocurrency ventures, have come under increased scrutiny after Trump’s annual financial disclosure showed he generated more than $1 billion in revenue last year from the same companies and offerings.

Digital hunt: how Iran tracks US troops through their phones

Iranian intelligence is using commercial advertising technology to detect the locations of American troops and carry out targeted strikes against them, Newsmax reports.

The technology relies on targeted advertising systems that use precise GPS coordinates. This unclassified location data is freely bought and sold by data brokers, with virtually no restrictions on who can purchase it

The tracking is tied to user accounts rather than specific devices, meaning that changing phones does not stop the surveillance

Iran also monitors videos and photos posted by soldiers on social media, revealing base layouts, troop movements, and defensive positions

Days earlier, Admiral Brad Cooper, head of US CENTCOM, sent a letter to service members warning that social media posts are helping Iran determine troop locations and assess the effectiveness of its strikes on American bases.

One example cited: a US soldier’s video, filmed with Meta smart glasses and posted on Instagram, showed troops running for cover  during an Iranian attack on the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan on July 17. The footage revealed the exact location of the base and the evacuation route to the bunker.

Some troops in Jordan have already been told their phones will be confiscated in the coming days. Yet the looming threat of phone seizures has deepened the unease among soldiers’ families, already jittery from months of Iranian reports about deadly attacks on US bases in the region.

Open-source information has become Iran’s most effective reconnaissance tool, and the US military is struggling to contain the damage.

Netanyahu has returned home after telling Trump in no uncertain terms that there will be NO DEAL with Iran. He scolded Vance for not being Jewish enough and  publicly humiliated him for the record. Netanyahu avoided New York this trip but vows he will attend a UN conference in September despite calls for his arrest.

THE CIRCULAR: Israel tells Trump to attack Iran because Israel hates Iran. Trump complies putting the US in the crosshairs and Americans at risk. Israel tells Trump to defend the Strait after it’s ‘unexpected’ closure by Iran. Troops die. Netanyahu comes to DC to force Trump to continue the unrelenting bombing of Iran and make no deal. Trump claims he will bomb Iran and 93 million citizens to smithereens. Netanyahu applauds and says Iran started the war.

Generals warn Trump the US military arsenal is squeezed and we need to backoff until inventories can be replenished which would take 2-5 years.  Netanyahu’s last warning to Trump: If Iran attacks Israel, vengeance will be swift and complete. Netanyahu resumes bombing in Lebanon, crossing Iran’s red line.

It would appear a lot of blackmail was reiterated during Netanyahu’s brief visit. And everyone has been thus warned… Bowed head. Folded hands. Promises kept.

Morocco is opening its border and allowing upwards of 2,000 immigrants to cross into Spain.

Morocco is an ally of Israel.

Any country that defies Israel’s global dominance is subject to destruction, whether by fires or by immigrants or by weather anomalies. There are exactly two countries who continue to defy that breach of sovereignty – China and Russia.

When we first started our Medical Kidnap  website in 2014, some of the most horrific stories of children being ripped away from their parents were coming out of the State of Washington.

Before Facebook and Google started altering their algorithms to prevent stories like our Medical Kidnapping stories from going viral, we used to put a lot of pressure on the State by having people call and email State authorities, and making whatever story we were covering a “high profile” case that often even the local corporate media sources would cover.

Such was the case in 2014, when we covered the story of the Rengo Family from Bellingham, Washington. Even through we broke the news the day before Thanksgiving that year, it went viral with more than 1 million views in 48 hours. See:

Breastfed, Homebirthed Babies Taken Away From Parents For Not Using Hospital

The mom in this story gave birth to twins at home, and the grandmother was allegedly not too pleased that they did not take the babies to the hospital, and had an ambulance sent to check on them, which prompted them to report the parents to Child Protective Services, even though they found nothing medically wrong with the twins.

We managed to send over 6000 calls to the Governor’s office, and at the first hearing, they returned the babies to the parents, which was unheard of back in those days.

It did not last long, however, and eventually the State came back and seized all three of their children, completely destroying this family.

And this was not the only horror story we published out of Washington State.

Well today, almost 12 years later, Washington State is now perhaps taking the lead on correcting many of the abuses in their child welfare system, and have found out what we and others have been publishing for many years now, which is that children who stay home, even in “troubled homes”, do far better than children put into the foster care system.

Richard Wexler, writing for the Washington State Standard, states that due to recent efforts in Washington State to keep families together rather than taking their children away from them, between 16 to 55 lives of children are being saved per year!

Curbing foster care saves children’s lives

How many times have you heard it? A child “known to the system” dies, and someone says: “See? Because you’re not taking away as many children, and throwing them into foster care, it’s causing children to die!”

We’ve known all along it’s not true. And now, thanks to new research, we know something else: Washington state’s limited efforts to stop tearing apart so many families have saved children’s lives – anywhere from six to 22 per year. At the same time, by increasing the proportion of foster children placed with relatives instead of strangers, the state has saved another 10 to 30 children’s lives per year.

Some of these gains are due to the Keeping Families Together Act, and the new study should once and for all end the smear campaign against that law. But the decline in needless removal predates that law. That’s why independent researchers from the Seattle-area group Pale Blue have been able to measure long-term trends. Their research builds on other studies and data.

Here’s how we know curbing needless removal from families does not jeopardize child safety:

• Though the only acceptable goal for child abuse fatalities is zero, such fatalities have occurred in Washington and every other state for decades.
• As KUOW pointed out earlier this year: The year the most children on (Child Protective Services) radar died in Washington was 2012, long before the Keeping Families Together Act. At that time, case workers took nearly twice the number of kids from their families as they do today.

You can’t draw definitive conclusions from any one state. You would need a massive nationwide study examining millions of records and tens of thousands of deaths.

Fortunately, there is such a study. It found that reducing entries into foster care did nothing to increase child abuse deaths, and taking more children did nothing to reduce such deaths.

That doesn’t demonstrate that taking fewer children saves lives. But this does: A vast scholarly literature from around the world compares outcomes for children left in their own homes to comparably-maltreated children placed in foster care in typical cases – cases that are vastly more common than the horror stories; cases that often involve confusing poverty with neglect. The studies show that the foster children typically fared worse on an enormous range of outcomes – including premature death.

There are a variety of reasons for this. In some cases, it’s the high rate of abuse in foster care. But also, there is the enormous stress of removal.

So it’s no wonder that, for example, a Swedish study comparing foster children to comparably maltreated children left in their own homes found that the foster children were four times more likely to die by age 20 – and the most common cause of death was suicide.

There are now enough data to calculate how many lives are saved, and how much serious illness and disability are averted by reducing needless foster care, as Washington has done. And since kinship foster care is, by far, the least harmful form of foster care, it’s possible to calculate the lives saved and disability averted by increasing the proportion of foster children placed with relatives – as Washington also has done.

So the next time you hear someone dismiss the enormous trauma to a child of being torn from everyone they know and love by saying it’s “much more preferable and safer than being dead,” consider that some of those children will die prematurely because they were needlessly taken. T

hat’s true even when children are left at home with the mediocre or worse services they get now. Ideally, we would wrap families with everything they needed. But waiting until that happens to stop tearing apart children only puts those children in greater danger.

In 2025, Washington backed away from reform, and entries into foster care increased. As a result, as of 2025, Washington still takes children at a rate more than 13% above the national average when rates of family poverty are factored in.

The stakes in the Iran War have increased significantly during the past few days, as Yemen’s Ansar Allah (Houthis) has bombed a key Saudi Arabian oil plant in Aramco, and has effectively closed down traffic flowing through the Red Sea, in addition to traffic being halted through the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf.

I am including two video reports here today that give a great overall perspective on the current situation, without the corporate media propaganda.

The first one is an interview with Professor Seyed Marandi from last night who actually lives in Tehran and has inside information, and the second report is from the Transition Protocol with ex-CIA agent Larry Johnson, Pepe Escobar, and Zulfiqar Ali that aired just hours before I published this article today, Sunday, July 26, 2026.

Marandi reiterates that there are no military solutions for the U.S. or Saudi Arabia at this point. He believes that the Trump administration is looking for an off-ramp, while acknowledging that they could also re-start the bombing at any point, and carry out their threats to target Iranian key infrastructure.

To do so, however, from Marandi’s perspective, is to then give a green light to Iran to start bombing American bases in the Gulf again, and take out the infrastructure of the Gulf Nations, such as their water desalinization plants, as well as bomb their ports to make it impossible for them to export their oil.

Iran is still hoping that the Gulf States will back down from supporting the U.S. military bases in their countries, because the U.S. cannot save them.

In the Transition Protocol discussion, Larry Johnson exposes the propaganda from earlier this week when Trump promised to help Saudi Arabia build a nuclear plant, by reminding everyone that the U.S. has only produced 2 nuclear power plants in the past 26 years (one of which was 30 years late), while Russia has built about 60, and China probably even more than that, during the same time period.

China is heavily invested in Saudi Arabia, and it would seem it is just a matter of time that Saudi Arabia will see that their only path forward is to work with China, and not with the U.S. who not only cannot protect them from Iranian missiles, but cannot protect them from their neighbors in Yemen either, because they build these drones and missiles for pennies on the dollar compared to the U.S. ones they rely upon.

Saudi Arabia is running out of options, and the one thing that is not discussed in either of these videos, is the fact that Saudi Arabia has invested heavily in U.S. Big Tech and AI during the past few years, and is as leveraged in the AI bubble as U.S. Big Tech is.

Keep a close eye on the markets this week, as Trump might be out of tricks to keep it going now, as the AI bubble draws closer to bursting while at the same time the price of diesel fuel and other petroleum products continue to climb as we head forward to what could be a total economic collapse soon.

Modern day Western culture, post Darwin, exalts the physical side of mankind, while almost completely ignoring the spiritual side.

Every person alive today has both a physical body, and a spirit which gives life to the physical body.

The LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. (Genesis 2:7)

The human spirit is different from the spirits of other created beings, and is what makes us “human”.

God, the creator of heaven and earth, is pure spirit. His spirit is often referred to in the Bible as the “Holy Spirit.”

When a new human being is born, that child inherits the human spirit from their parents.

The one exception was the promised Messiah, Jesus Christ, who had no earthly human father, and was born from a virgin woman. He was the first human being ever born from both the human spirit, and the spirit of God.

The apostle John, who was the closest to Jesus during his earthly ministry, is the one who has written most extensively about the spirit of God entering into the human race.

This is what he wrote in Chapter 1 of his Gospel:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not overcome it.

There came a man who was sent from God; his name was John. He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe.

He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light.

The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him.

He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.

Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. (John 1:1-13)

John wrote extensively about the spiritual rebirth, and how one could become “born again” through the spirit of God. Many Christians today, particularly Evangelical Christians, like to talk about being “born again”, and a survey done in the United States a few years ago found that almost 50% of the population of the United States believe they are “born again.”

That fact alone should alert people that most Americans truly do not understand what “born again” means as defined by the Biblical texts, and especially the writings of the apostle John.

Most Christians will start with John Chapter 3 and the conversation that Jesus had with a Pharisee named Nicodemus about this topic, but this concept of being born of God starts first here, in Chapter 1.

One way to define what something is, is to point out what it is not, which is what John does in the 13th verse of Chapter 1:

children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. (John 1:13)

The first word used here by John, which in this particular English translation of the Bible is translated as “natural descent”, is in the Greek literally “blood”, in the plural: BLOODS.

Even the older English translations, such as the KJV, only uses blood in the singular:

Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:13 – KJV)

The Greek word is αἷμα (aima), which Thayer’s Greek dictionary defines:

1) blood

1a) of man or animals

1b) refers to the seat of life

1c) of those things that resemble blood, grape juice

2) blood shed, to be shed by violence, slay, murder

In his writings in the New Testament, the apostle John very frequently distinguished between the “Godly Jews” and the “Satanic Jews”, particularly in Chapter 8, showing how the Jews who claimed to be descendants of Abraham had no special privileges just because they came from the same “family tree.”

So when he chose to use “blood” here in Chapter 1 in the plural, he is clearly including every single human family tree, or “bloodlines”, and how none of them matter when it comes to being “born of God.”

To be “born of God,” is to be implanted with the spiritual seed of God into our lives.

This is what John wrote in his first letter, 1 John:

No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. (1 John 3:9)

The Greek word for “seed” here is σπέρμα (sperma).

This word is used 44 times in the New Testament. However, depending upon what English translation of the Bible you use, the English word “seed” is only used about half the time, and mainly when referring to actual, physical seeds, such as the seeds of plants.

A good example is Matthew Chapter 13, where sperma is used 5 times and translated into English as “seed”  in three different parables that Jesus told:

Jesus told them another parable:

“The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away.

When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.

The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’ ”

‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.

The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’

‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may root up the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters:

First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.'”

He told them another parable:

“The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field.

Though it is the smallest of all your seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches.”

He told them still another parable:

“The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of flour until it worked all through the dough.”

Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable.

So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet:

“I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.”

Then he left the crowd and went into the house.

His disciples came to him and said,

“Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.”

He answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the sons of the kingdom.

The weeds are the sons of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil.

The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels. As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age.

The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil.

They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear. (Matthew 13:31-43)

The other English word that is used most often to translate sperma is “descendant”, usually the “descendant” of Abraham, referring to his physical family tree.

Some examples:

They answered him, “We are Abraham’s descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?” (John 8:33)

I know you are Abraham’s descendants. Yet you are ready to kill me, because you have no room for my word. (John 8:37)

concerning His Son, who was born of a descendant of David according to the flesh, (Romans 1:3)

nor are they all children because they are Abraham’s descendants, but: “THROUGH ISAAC YOUR DESCENDANTS SHALL BE NAMED.”

That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are regarded as descendants. (Romans 9:7-8)

“Descendants” is the same word in the Greek, sperma, which means “seed.”

Two Kinds of “Seed” – Physical and Spiritual

We can see, therefore, that Abraham had two kinds of seeds/descendants: physical seeds according to his family bloodline, and spiritual seeds through the spiritual rebirth that Jesus offers through faith in him.

For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to promise. (Galatians 3:27-29)

Family bloodlines have no value in the Kingdom of God, not even Abraham’s bloodline.

And while many Christians today understand that, they just claim that they are “born again” so that they can be included in all the promises that were given to Abraham, and fulfilled in Jesus Christ.

But what comes out of a person’s mouth in terms of what they claim, is not what counts in the end. Because everyone can lie equally, and even lie to themselves about who they think they are.

No, John made it very clear as to who the children of God are who have received his spiritual seed and how we can recognize them:

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!

The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.

Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.

But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.

Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous.

He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.

No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.

This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother. (1 John 3:1-10)

Einkorn is the oldest of the “ancient grains,” and its rising popularity in recent years has led to some interesting findings about this ancient grain, and just how healthy it is.

First, let’s review the history of “einkorn” (triticum monococcum).

History of Einkorn, the Ancient Grain

Einkorn is an ancient grain, and is known as the oldest variety of “wheat.” Einkorn is also sometimes referred to as “farro” or “farro einkorn.” Einkorn was first cultivated 5,000 to 10,000 years ago. It is classified as a “diploid” because it only has two sets of chromosomes. Modern wheat varieties are classified as “hexaploid,” having six sets of chromosomes, due to a long history of hybridization.

Einkorn is thought to have originated in the upper area of the Fertile Crescent of the Near East (Tigris-Euphrates regions), and is quite probably the main grain recorded in the earliest biblical history. Einkorn became widely distributed throughout the Near East, Transcaucasia, the Mediterranean region, southwestern Europe, and the Balkans, and was one of the first cereals cultivated for food.

Another ancient grain, emmer, has four sets of chromosomes and was probably an early hybrid of wild einkorn that was more suitable for a wider range of climates and geographical areas, particularly warmer climates. Emmer became the predominant wheat throughout the Near and Far East, Europe and northern Africa until about 4,000-1,000 BCE, although it was still cultivated in isolated regions such as south-central Russia into the last century, and even today remains an important crop in Ethiopia and a minor crop in Italy and India.

The oldest hexaploid grain and the predecessor to modern wheat is probably spelt. Spelt was a hybrid of emmer with more adaptability then emmer. These three ancient grains are known as “the covered wheats,” since the kernels do not thresh free of their hard coverings, making them more labor intensive to mill.

These ancient grains went through a long history of hybridizations to make them easier to mill and process into our modern day wheat, and to make them more desirable for bread making with a higher gluten content. But due to gluten toxicity issues in modern times, many are reviving the ancient varieties of grains, and einkorn is the oldest.

Nutritional Characteristics of Einkorn

The ancient grain einkorn is packed with nutrition. It is a rich source of the beta carotene lutein, a powerful antioxidant. Einkorn has the highest amounts of lutein of any other variety of wheat.

Einkorn is also a rich source of tocotrienols and tocopherols, powerful antioxidants and forms of Vitamin E. Compared to modern wheat varieties, einkorn has higher levels of protein, crude fat, phosphorous, and potassium.

Recent Research on Einkorn

Fortunately, recent research has looked beyond the modern dogma which claims that the “gluten” found in wheat varieties is toxic to human health, focusing instead on how wheat is grown and processed, since the gluten from grains has been a part of the diet of humans for many thousands of years and was always considered healthy.

There have also been studies done in the past looking at the gut’s microbiome and repairing that to properly digest gluten:

More recent studies, many of them done in Turkey where einkorn (known as Siyez in Turkey) is native, and not an introduced crop (like in the U.S.), have shown that einkorn is unique in producing lactic acid bacteria and other “probiotics” necessary for gut health.

This is accomplished by using traditional “sourdough” preparations of the flour.

Enterococcus durans SL70, a Novel Exopolysaccharide Producer from Traditional Sourdough Fermentation of Einkorn (Triticum monococcum L. ssp. monococcum)

Research background

Given the potential of microbial exopolysaccharides from lactic acid bacteria in various industrial processes, alternative sources for the isolation of lactic acid bacteria are highly topical. In this study, we used a traditional sourdough from einkorn (Triticum monococcum L. ssp. monococcum) as a source of lactic acid bacteria for the isolation, identification and determination of exopolysaccharide producers.

Experimental approach

The sourdough was prepared from einkorn according to the traditional method. Lactic acid bacteria were isolated and purified using the single colony technique on MRS and M17 media. The isolates were characterised using matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization-time of flight mass (MALDI-TOF) spectrometry. All isolates were analysed for extracellular polysaccharide production and one isolate was selected for purification and characterisation of its polysaccharide.

Results and conclusions

The isolates were identified as Lactobacillus plantarum, L. paraplantarum, L. brevis, Pediococcus pentosaceus, Enterococcus faecium and E. durans. The production of exopolysaccharides by all lactic acid bacteria was evaluated and it was found that all strains (except one) were capable of producing exopolysaccharides. One polysaccharide (EPS-SL70) was purified from the isolates of E. durans SL70. This anionic heteropolysaccharide had, in addition to the carbohydrate backbone, a protein structure that did not contain nucleic acid. The carbohydrate backbone consisted of mannose, glucose, rhamnose, arabinose, xylose and galactose.

Novelty and scientific contribution

The microbial flora of traditional einkorn sourdough has been identified in this study and represents the first report on the exopolysaccharide production by lactic acid bacteria in traditional einkorn sourdough. Additionally, Enterococcus durans from einkorn sourdough was identified as a new exopolysaccharide producer.

In another study done in Turkey, they added einkorn flour to “Peksimet“, a traditional Turkish twice-baked bread valued for its hard, dry texture, long shelf life, and role as a durable staple food in Turkish and Turkish-Cypriot cuisine.

They found that the einkorn flour resulted in a significant decrease in the glycemic index, which is important for those suffering from diabetes or high blood sugar due to the consumption of too many carbohydrates.

Introduction

Bread is the most consumed basic nutrition source in the world. Bread is an important nutrient product in terms of being cheap, satisfying, and a good source of energy. In general, a bread comprises 50.5% carbohydrates, 37%, 8.7% protein, 3.2% fat, and 2.0% ash, and 100 g of bread provides an average of 270 kcal of energy (Yuksel and Kayacier 2022).

Since ancient times, dough has been prepared by adding flour to products containing lactic acid bacteria, such as yogurt and cheese. Afterwards, new yeast is obtained by leaving this dough to ferment in a warm environment. Then, a new fermentation process is performed with this yeast to make new dough.

This process is called sourdough leavening, and the bread obtained by this method is called sourdough bread (Hansen and Schieberle 2005). Bread prepared through the sourdough method has a short shelf life due to the high humidity level it contains. For this reason, these breads are dried and turned into peksimet to increase their shelf life (Axel et al. 2017; Çağlar 2020).

Peksimet is a food product that is produced by removing moisture from bread and can remain unspoiled for a long time. The definition of peksimet by the Turkish Language Institution is as follows; “It is a long-lasting bread that is cut into slices after baking and dried with heat.” (Çağlar 2020).

One of the most important concerns of the food industry is the shelf life of foods. Bread has a short shelf life because of problems such as staleness and mold (Axel et al. 2017; Yuksel and Kayacier 2022). However, peksimet can be easily consumed as it can be stored for a long time. In addition, peksimet gains new nutritional properties such as high enzyme-resistant starch and low glycemic index during the drying period. (Çağlar 2020).

Siyez (Triticum monococcum L. subsp. Monococcum) belongs to the genus Triticum breed. It is referred to as einkorn in the literature.

The genetic structure of einkorn, which is accepted as the ancestor of wheat, is a diploid (14 chromosomes). The contents of einkorn wheat are as follows: 11.6% moisture, 65% carbohydrates, 2.8%–4.2% fat, 2.3%–2.8% ash, and 11.83–25.2% protein. In addition, einkorn wheats have high carotenoid (maximum lutein: 8.1 mg/kg), tocopherol (tocol: 77.96 mg/kg), and phenolic contents.

Thanks to these compounds, which are known as functional compounds, einkorn products are healthier than (Hidalgo and Brandolini 2014; Loje et al. 2003).

The aim of this study was to enrich peksimet with einkorn flour in order to present a new healthy peksimet product with long-term self-life for the food industry. For this purpose, after drying the breads prepared with sourdough, peksimet samples were collected and the physicochemical, color, bioactive, and sensory properties of these samples were investigated.

Einkorn Grown in the U.S.

In the U.S., einkorn is an introduced crop that is gaining in popularity. Unfortunately, most of the einkorn samples we have tested that were grown in the U.S. have been contaminated with Bayer/Monsanto’s glyphosate, the toxic, cancer-causing ingredient in the herbicide RoundUp.

We have had much better success in finding einkorn that tests clean of glyphosate in Italy, where it is also an introduced crop.

Now that I know what the Turkish word is for einkorn (Siyez), I am in the process of reaching out to my Turkish contacts to begin the process of hopefully sourcing einkorn from Turkey, where it is native to the region, known as part of the “fertile crescent” where einkorn and other, older forms of wheat originated.

Franklin Graham and his Evangelical Christian organization Samaritan’s Purse is at it again, working hand in hand with Big Pharma and the U.S. Government to get involved with the “Ebola virus outbreak” in Africa, by quarantining American aid workers exposed to the “virus” in Kenya, even though they have no symptoms, before they can return to the U.S.

And this is in direct defiance of the Kenya High Court’s ruling to STOP these military-style quarantine camps put up by the U.S. from being used in their country.

GENEVA/NAIROBI, July 17 (Reuters) – Seven American aid workers who had been in Congo to fight the Ebola outbreak are quarantining at a new isolation facility in Kenya ‌after the U.S. government introduced travel restrictions, the head of a U.S. charity employing them told Reuters.

The aid workers are the first known people to quarantine at the facility, which has sparked huge opposition in Kenya and is at the heart of a legal case in which a court has ordered the work to be suspended. Construction continued however, according to U.S. officials and satellite imagery reviewed by Reuters.

Washington’s new policy ​says American citizens returning from the Democratic Republic of Congo, where there is an Ebola outbreak, must spend three weeks in a third country before entering the United ​States.

The U.S. government is building the 50-bed bio-isolation unit on an air force base in central Kenya for asymptomatic Americans exposed to ⁠the virus in Democratic Republic of Congo or Uganda. Many Kenyans are angered at what they see as the U.S. offloading the health risk such patients pose.

Last month, Kenya’s health minister ​announced an immediate halt to the facility’s construction after he was found in contempt of court for failing to observe the order to halt work pending a final ruling.

“Samaritan’s Purse has ​seven American Disaster Assistance Response Team staff members there,” Franklin Graham, president and CEO of Samaritan’s Purse, told Reuters in response to questions.

“None of them have any symptoms, but they are being quarantined by the Kenyan government for 21 days,” Graham said.

As I have previously reported during the COVID Scamdemic, Samaritan’s Purse participated in mass COVID-19 vaccination campaigns with the deadly, experimental COVID-19 “vaccines” as well as the deadly experimental drug, Remdesivir.

They helped the U.S. Government turn Christian churches into vaccine clinics, with many Christians receiving the deadly shots and drugs right in their own churches!

Back in 2021, Franklin Graham told his 9.6 million Facebook followers that: “I think Jesus Christ would advocate for people using vaccines and medicines.”

He claimed to have taken the shot himself, and later that year, he had heart surgery for pericarditis, a known side effect from the COVID-19 shots.

So here we are today in 2026, with Americans being quarantined for a “virus” that produces no symptoms, and with American authorities disregarding the rule of law due to an Ebola “pandemic”, etc.

Welcome to the 2026 reruns! Same script, just a different “virus,” and one that has already been tried to instill fear before! (So was the “coronavirus”, which had U.S. patents since 1999, long before 2020.)

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie forced a nurse returning from Africa where she was treating Ebola patients to be quarantined like a prisoner for 21 days back in 2014, even though she had no symptoms and posed no danger to the public according to medical experts. The U.S. moved closer to the AI bubble bursting this week, when a relatively little-known AI company out of China released their new version of AI (Large Language Model) that rivaled, or in some cases beat, benchmarks by U.S. Big Tech companies such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google.

Not only is this AI model out of China less expensive since it is “open source”, they promised to start giving it away for free on July 27, 2026.

The U.S. stock market, and the tech heavy NASDAQ, all closed down on Friday as a result.

Markets may have just experienced their second DeepSeek shock, this time thanks to a Chinese AI lab named after a Pink Floyd album

Excerpts:

On Thursday, Moonshot AI, a Beijing-based AI startup, unveiled the latest version of its Kimi large language model, which promises performance close to Anthropic’s Fable 5—perhaps the most powerful publicly available model today—at a fraction of the cost.

Kimi K3, the largest open-weight model ever released, performed “competitively” with Fable 5, and “substantially outperformed” Anthropic’s Opus 4.8, and OpenAI’s GPT 5.6 Sol, according to Moonshot.

The company’s officially-released benchmarks consistently rank K3 among the top three AI models; one independent benchmark from Arena.AI even put K3 as the best model currently available, ahead of Anthropic.

Many observers, including Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, didn’t expect a Chinese AI lab to release a model that could approach the U.S.’s best offerings for another six months.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk, for example, suggested it might happen by the first quarter of next year. K3’s launch rapidly shrank that timeline and underscores just how quickly Chinese AI developers are closing the performance gap with their U.S. rivals.

Chip Stocks Just Had Their Worst Week in 15 Months

The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index, which tracks America’s biggest chipmakers, fell 12.5% this week, marking its worst week in over 15 months. Nvidia, AMD, and Broadcom all fell hard.

Meanwhile, the AI bubble question is back in focus.

Markets have seen this movie before. When China’s DeepSeek stunned Wall Street in January 2025, Nvidia lost $589 billion in one day. CNBC called it the biggest single-day loss in market history.

Why Kimi K3 Has Everyone’s Attention

Kimi K3 earned the hype. This week, it topped Arena’s coding leaderboard with 1,679 points, pushing Claude Fable 5 into second place.

It is also cheap. Moonshot charges $3 per million input tokens, while Fable 5 costs $10. The model reads a million tokens at once, enough to hold an entire codebase in one prompt

AI Bubble Fears Are Starting to Spill Over

Investors are freaking out.

Yet another domino appears to be falling as part of the Ruth Goldberg machine that will eventually pop the AI investment bubble.

Earlier this month, economic forecasters were sounding the alarm that overspending on AI was at a level far more severe than Black Tuesday, the day that jump-started the worst economic catastrophe in the history of the industrial economy. Now, investors seem to be coming to that same conclusion all on their own.

This week, Taiwanese semiconductor giant Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSMC) posted its second-quarter earnings results, revealing a staggering revenue of over $40 billion — a record-breaking sum for the company.

While that should come as welcome news to investors, the results had the exact opposite effect, sending shares of TSMC stocks tumbling by four percent. That in turn led the tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 index to fall by 1.4 percent Thursday, compounding losses from Wednesday, Bloomberg reported.

The issue seems to be TSMC’s revision to its capital expenditure. As the key manufacturer for chip design company Nvidia — arguably one of the most pivotal players in the AI boom — TSMC is a major bellwether for investor confidence around the buzzy tech.

The trouble is that, in addition to posting record revenue, the Taiwanese chip firm raised its 2026 spending forecast to a range of $60-64 billion, up from $52-56 billion. That shift will test how much more spending investors are willing to stomach on AI, a technology that has yet to justify the nearly $1.6 trillion spent developing it over the past decade.

Futurism has also published an article about how the richest Tech billionaires are actually rooting for the AI bubble to collapse, so that the industry can be consolidated to just a few Big Tech companies.

This reminds me about how another technology breakthrough, the mass production of automobiles in the early 1900s, led to hundreds of companies producing automobiles in the “roaring 1920s”.

But a collapse in the economy reduced them to the “Big Three”, where every other business was wiped out by the financial crash just before WW II, which is now known as “The Great Depression” in U.S. history.

The number of active automobile manufacturers dropped from 253 in 1908 to only 44 in 1929, with about 80 percent of the industry’s output accounted for by Ford, General Motors, and Chrysler, formed from Maxwell in 1925 by Walter P. Chrysler.

Some of the wealthiest business people in the world are chopping it up about something that defies orthodoxy: the AI bubble, they hope, will soon collapse.

Gone are the days of debating whether AI is an economic bubble.

Having already fallen $800 billion short of turning a profit on the AI boom, some of the tech industry’s biggest players have accepted that the financial arithmetic on AI just doesn’t add up. But here’s the catch: though the AI bubble objectively makes life harder for the rest of us, to the silicon valley elite, the economic consequences of its downfall could actually be a good thing.

New reporting by the Atlantic details the heterodox sentiment sweeping through the tech industry. The pro-Bubble stance has its roots in a 2024 book called “Boom: Bubbles and the End of Stagnation,” by tech investors Tobias Huber and Byrne Hobart.

These fellas argued that there are essentially two kinds of economic bubble: the good ones, like the Dot Com bubble, and the bad ones, like the 2008 subprime lending crisis.

Though both do significant economic damage when they burst, Huber and Hobart argue that bursting the good bubbles nonetheless helps accelerate technological progress in capitalist economies. With bubbles, Hobart told the Atlantic, a “set of investments that you could never underwrite otherwise suddenly makes sense.”

That attitude has helped tech executives and their investors rationalize away one of the most irrational concentrations of finance capital the US has seen in decades. “Stop trying to make bubbles go away,” as the venture capitalist James Thomason wrote last year. “Yes, bubbles create volatility. Yes, investors lose money. Yes, employees lose jobs when companies fail. But the alternative is underinvestment in transformative opportunities.”

Some of the biggest names in tech have signaled support. Last October, Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos explained that bubbles “can even be good, because when the dust settles and you see who are the winners, societies benefits from those inventions.”

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has likewise argued that AI will a “huge net win for the economy” no matter what, even if a “phenomenal amount of money” ends up in the blender.

Of course, if the whole thing does come tumbling down, it‘s not the tech billionaires who will suffer. Some will go bankrupt, sure, but that just means less competition for market dominance. Each sees themselves as too big to fail — so when the bubble does burst, you can expect plenty of drama.

Today was another down day in Tech stocks, which brought out the AI Bubble doomsday scenarios that are more frequently being discussed in the Corporate Financial news networks.

Barbara Kollmeyer, writing for Market Watch, covered an opinion piece written by analyst Ed Zitron who stated that the Lehman Bros. moment of the AI bubble is coming, which will affect the entire stock market.

Ed Zitron sees a downfall driven by loss-making subscriptions and an insatiable need for cash

Blowout results from chip giant Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., or TSMC, seem to be doing little for sentiment on Thursday.

Worries about whether spending on artificial intelligence will pay off have been a downer for some stocks lately. Our call of the day from Ed Zitron, author of “The Hater’s Guide to the AI Bubble,” won’t help much.

In a 15,000-word Substack post on Wednesday, Zitron, the founder of a technology-focused public-relations firm, argues that the question is not if, but when, OpenAI will collapse.

“Its failure would be a watershed moment — the Lehman Brothers of the AI bubble, and an event that would define the end of one epoch, the start of another, and that would shake the afflicted out of that psychosis,” he writes.

A dogged AI critic, Zitron sees a “cultlike” derangement around what he sees as an AI bubble kept alive by OpenAI’s existence.

Back in early 2023, when Zitron said he started researching large language models, he called generative AI “the latest gold rush in technology.” He predicted two years ago that OpenAI’s Sora video generator was not viable — and it was canned this March.

His Substack post attacks OpenAI’s business model and its plan to “burn over $852 billion by the end of 2030,” along with the $50 billion or more in compute spending this year. The latter, he estimates, is “more than 50% of all global compute spend.”

As OpenAI and Anthropic raised $300 billion in the past few years, their infrastructure costs have been funded largely by hyperscalers, who have been creating an illusion that more companies will eat up compute like OpenAI, he wrote.

Oracle, he notes, is in particular danger from a prospective OpenAI collapse, as it could get stuck with “billions of wasted capex, and endless debt and leases.”

Zitron predicts that OpenAI’s collapse will only come after “AI data center debt and venture capital funding has been almost entirely exhausted,” as OpenAI has vast money needs.

“Based on my own reporting on its audited financials from 2024 and 2025, OpenAI will need to raise funding at least three more times in the next decade,” he says.

Its downfall will be driven by loss-making subscriptions, weak advertising revenue and massive costs for customers, Zitron says. That will curb compute demand, end free ChatGPT and make investors wary of any AI startup, not to mention seizing up related data-center debt.

Zitron doesn’t think Anthropic is safe, either, as it’s burning billions on training models, producing way too many Claude iterations and lacking focus.

An OpenAI collapse will lead to a “violent, punishing effect on the entire stock market,” he says.

The scale, he says, scares him “to the point I’m almost hoping I’m wrong.”

Public backlash to AI is intensifying — and transforming into real-world attempts at physical violence. Industry leaders are fearing for their lives.

Leading AI companies and their top executives are beefing up security, the Wall Street Journal reports, as escalating anti-AI industry sentiment is culminating in threats and attempts of violence against the people and ventures building leading AI models. Some executives are even traveling with armed guards, while others have taken to keeping a lower public profile.

“Tech CEOs, a few years ago, definitely did not have security,” Dakota Dominguez, an executive at the Silicon Valley-based security firm JPT Security, told the WSJ.

“A lot of tech companies now are incorporating that into their budgets.”

Earlier this year, the AI industry was shaken when a 20-year-old anti-AI activist named Daniel Moreno-Gama, armed with a gun and a Molotov cocktail, unsuccessfully tried to firebomb the home of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. No one was injured, but the high-profile incident followed a string of violent threats and at least one OpenAI lockdown.

OpenAI isn’t alone. Per the WSJ, around the time that Altman’s home was targeted, OpenAI rival Anthropic faced a close call when a man snuck into its headquarters behind an employee carrying an envelope with an executive’s name on it. The man reportedly then told a guard that the executive was “going to be killed.” The man was stopped before anyone got hurt.

All in all, it’s easy to see why tech leaders are budgeting for beefed up security.
